I recently read the article "Meet Nine Year Old Quvenzhane Wallis-- Oscars Youngest Lead Actress Nominee Ever". The article discusses how Quvenzhane Wallis, a child actors was a nominee for the Oscars. She, on her first audition, was cast as the lead role in a film known as "Beasts of the Southern Wild". According to the article she originally wanted to be a dentist but she was willing to try auditioning for movies . Apparently she was up against 4,000 other girls who were auditioning for the same role as her. Now she is known for her outstanding nomination in the Oscars although she is only nine years old.
This article actually makes me think about our aspirations. This girl never thoguht about being an actress. However, she was willing to audition. Taking that chance really paid off. That is why this article also makes me think about taking risks in life. The idea of not knowing what will happen but still being bold enough to take the chance that things wont go as planned. If you are willing to take risks then you are opening a door of opportunities for yourself. That is what this article teaches me about life.
Now if she looks back at that time in her life she can be happy that she took that risk. I believe that you can't really be sure about the outcome of things if you never take a the risk that things don't always work out. However, if you are willing to take the risk go for it. Because you never know what life will hand you.
that is so true, if you don't take the chances in life that present themselves you will always wonder what if. cool response
