Introduction:

 ~ Lead: Forbidden love is something seen and known all over the world. But what can lead to two lovers being forbidden from being with each other.

~ Title and Author (sources): "Romeo And Juliet" by William Shakepeare, "Hatewatch" Southern Poverty Law Center

~ Thesis: In the tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet" Romeo and Juliet cannot be with each other yet they still are; they have a forbidden love. There are many different and similar reasons as to why Romeo and Juliet and young lovers today cannot be with each other. 

Body Paragraph:

~ Observation/ Inference:
Teenagers today can be prevented formbeing with each other because of intolerance towards groups of people. For example homosexuals and people of different races.

~ Evidence/Quote:
"...noting that the church does not condone interacial marriage" (Hatewatch)

~ Explanation:
This quote shows that today people are forbidden for different reasons than in Romeo and Juliet's time. In this case people, have to choose between their love or their faith because their relationship is not "condoned" by the church.

Age impacts young relationships in today's age and during Romeo And Juliet's time.

~ Evidence/Quote: "And too soon marr'd are those so early made" (Act 1 Scene 2 line 13; Capulet)

~ Explanation: This shows that Capulet did not like the idea of Juliet getting married so young to Paris.

Love is forbidden in some cases because they are afraid of what others will think.

~ Evidence/Quote: "if ye should lead her heart into a fool's paradise,as they say; it were a gross kind of behavior..."(Act 2 Scene 4; Nurse)

~ Explanation:This shows the nurse doesn't trust Romeo she already has some sort of ad opinion about him just because he is a montogue.

Conclusion:
~The text relates to theworld in some ways because in today's time age impacts two lovers who want to be together. Also forbidden love  caused by the young lovers to be afraid of what others think.
~The reader should know that not everything is accepted whether or the reasoning behind it is good or bad.
